We launched Converse Aid in November 2007 with the aim to support good causes locally and globally through donations, fundraising activities and public relations support.
Agency founder, Donal Doherty, took to the streets of New York in November 2007 to run the New York Marathon for the Foyle Hospice to launch the initiative. With over £2,000 raised so far the future is bright for Converse Aid.
Future projects include community projects with members of the Converse team donating ½ day each month to a local charity of their choice. In addition 2008 will see the launch of a project aimed at raising literacy and education in the developing world. Agency founder, Donal Doherty comments on the initiative: ‘The marathon was a great experience and I feel that people should always strive for excellence in both their professional and personal life. By working to help local and global initiatives I believe Converse Aid can make a difference.’
